Ako tražite zdrav recept za desert ili snack za djecu, ova galette s voćem je savršen izbor! Jednostavna je, ukusna i pogodna i za najmlađe.
Sastojci za tijesto:
- 1 i 1/2 šalica pirovog brašna
- 150 g maslaca (hladnog, narezanog na kockice)
- 1 žlica praha datulja
- 3–5 žlica hladne vode
- Prstohvat soli (samo za djecu stariju od 12 mjeseci)
Punjenje (voće po izboru):
Ja koristim ono što imam doma.
Ovaj put sam stavila:
- 2 jabuke (narezane na ploške)
- 4 jagode
- Par borovnica
Ako koristite smrznuto voće, prethodno ga kratko prokuhajte na tavi dok ne omekša i ispari višak tekućine. Po potrebi zasladite s malo praha datulja.
Voće sam samo premazala mješavinom vode, cimeta i praha datulja – prirodno, blago i primjereno za djecu.

Priprema:
- U zdjeli pomiješajte brašno, sol (ako radite za djecu 12+), i prah datulja.
- Dodajte hladni maslac na kockice i izradite rukama ili u multipraktiku (ja sam koristila multipraktik) dok ne dobijete mrvičastu smjesu.
- Dodajte 3 žlice hladne vode. Ako se tijesto još ne povezuje, dodajte po žlicu dodatne vode dok se ne formira kugla.
- Zamotajte tijesto i stavite u hladnjak na 30 minuta.
- Ohlađeno tijesto razvaljajte u krug. Po sredini rasporedite voće po želji, ostavljajući rub slobodnim.
- Rubove presavijte preko dijela voća.
- Po želji premažite rub razmućenim jajetom radi zlatne boje (nije nužno za male bebe).
- Pecite na 200°C oko 30 minuta, dok tijesto ne poprimi zlatno-smeđu boju.

Fruit Galette – Healthy Cake for Kids Aged 1+
If you’re looking for a healthy dessert or snack for kids, this fruit galette is the perfect choice! It’s simple, tasty, and suitable even for babies over 12 months old.
For the dough:
- 1 1/2 cups spelt flour
- 150 g (about 2/3 cup) cold butter, cubed
- 1 tbsp date powder
- 3–5 tbsp cold water
- A pinch of salt (only for children over 12 months)
Filling (use any fruit you have at home):
This time, I used:
- 2 apples (thinly sliced)
- 4 strawberries
- A handful of blueberries
If you’re using frozen fruit, heat it briefly in a pan until it softens and excess water evaporates. Sweeten with date powder if needed.
I simply brushed the fruit with a mix of water, cinnamon, and a bit of date powder – natural, mild, and kid-friendly.
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt (if using for 12+ months), and date powder.
- Add the cold, cubed butter and mix by hand or use a food processor (I used a food processor) until crumbly.
- Add 3 tbsp of cold water. If the dough doesn’t come together, add more water, one tablespoon at a time, until it forms a ball.
- Wrap the dough and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the chilled dough into a rough circle. Add your fruit in the center, leaving the edges free.
- Fold the edges over part of the fruit.
- For a golden crust, you can brush the edges with a beaten egg (optional for babies).
- Bake at 200°C (about 390°F) for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
