Spoj jednostavnih i sezonskih sastojaka, lagane pripreme i nježnog okusa čini ovu juhu idealnom za bebe, malu djecu i cijelu obitelj.

Priprema:
- Pureći vrat stavite u lonac i prelijte hladnom vodom.
Temeljac procijedite kroz cijedilo u drugi lonac.
Korabica i grašak daju prirodnu slatkoću i dodatno obogaćuje jelovnik vaših najmlađih vitaminima i vlaknima.

Immune-Boosting Turkey Neck Soup with Kohlrabi and Peas – Perfect for Babies and Kids
If you’re looking for soup ideas that are both nutritious, delicious, and suitable for little ones, this turkey neck soup with kohlrabi and peas might become your new go-to recipe. With a blend of simple, seasonal ingredients, an easy preparation method, and a gentle flavor, this soup is ideal for babies, young children, and the entire family. Plus, it’s a great choice when you’re craving something comforting and wholesome.
Why Turkey Neck?
Turkey neck meat is incredibly tender, juicy, and easy to digest. Even a child can chew it with ease. On top of that, turkey soup made from the neck is naturally rich in nutrients and collagen, making it a perfect immunity-boosting soup. The good news? Turkey neck is both widely available and budget-friendly, while still being able to compete with the finest soups you’ve ever tried.
Ingredients:
- 1 turkey neck (if it’s a large piece, you don’t have to use all the meat—freeze some for later)
- 1 medium kohlrabi
- 3–4 carrots
- 2 shallots
- 3 potatoes
- 200 g peas
- Olive oil
- Pepper
- Salt to taste
Preparation:
- Place the turkey neck in a pot and cover with cold water. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 90 minutes. If using an Instant Pot, 30 minutes is enough.
- The meat should easily fall off the bone—that’s when it’s ready. Remove the neck, separate the meat, and cut it into small pieces. Strain the broth through a sieve into another pot.
- In a clean pot, add 2–3 tablespoons of olive oil, finely chopped shallots (or onion), diced carrots, kohlrabi, and potatoes, and the chopped turkey meat.
- Stir everything well, add a few spoonfuls of the broth, and wait for the pot to heat up.
- Once heated, pour in the rest of the warm broth. Add just enough water to cover the ingredients.
- Stir in the peas and simmer over low heat for another 30 minutes.
- Add pepper and salt to taste—thanks to the natural sweetness of the vegetables, even adults might enjoy it without any seasoning!
Why Is This Soup Perfect for Babies and Children?
This soup is an excellent choice when you need vegetable soup for babies, as it contains no heavy spices and the veggies are soft enough for little teeth—or gums! Kohlrabi and peas add a natural sweetness while enriching your child’s diet with essential vitamins and fiber.
