- 3 žlice tvrdog kokosovog ulja (možete koristiti i običan maslac)
Ja sam koristila 1 žlicu rogača i 1 žličicu mljevenih lješnjaka i pola žličice gingerbread mješavine
Isprobajte ih i uživajte u zdravim suhim kolačićima bez grižnje savjesti!

Simple and Healthy Cookies for Kids – Egg-Free Recipe with Spelt Flour
Are you looking for a recipe for simple and healthy cookies that are suitable for children and babies? These healthy Christmas cookies are a perfect combination of nutritious ingredients and rich flavor. The preparation is quick and easy, and the base recipe is adaptable – you can use it to make healthy cookies with coconut, almonds, hazelnuts, or ginger, depending on your child’s preferences and dietary needs.
Ingredients for Healthy Cookies:
- 1 cup spelt flour (type 550 or 630)
- A small amount of baking powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (you can use less if you prefer less sweet cookies). If preparing these cookies for babies, use natural alternatives like dates.
- 3 tablespoons solid coconut oil (you can also use regular butter)
- Spices of choice (I love gingerbread spice mix, ground ginger, cinnamon, or vanilla)
- Optional: ground hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, coconut, dark chocolate chips, dried fruit
How to Prepare Healthy Cookies:
- In a bowl, mix spelt flour, baking powder, and spices, along with any additional ingredients if using. I used 1 tablespoon of carob powder, 1 teaspoon of ground hazelnuts, and half a teaspoon of gingerbread spice mix.
- Add maple syrup and coconut oil, then knead a smooth dough with your hands.
- Place the dough in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes to firm up.
- Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper.
- Cut out cookies using cookie cutters. This time, I just shaped them into little circles and pressed them with a fork because I was in a hurry.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for about 10 minutes, until they turn golden brown. Be careful not to overbake – take them out as soon as they lightly brown and let them cool to become perfectly crisp.
These healthy shortbread cookies made with spelt flour are a great choice for an everyday snack, but also for festive occasions when you want to prepare something delicious and nutritious. Try them out and enjoy healthy dry biscuits guilt-free!
